First couples

Growing up with toxic parenting, her entire life revolves around grades, discipline, and expectations. Her parents made sure she believed that studying was the only way to live a "quality life."

Despite being the only daughter of wealthy parents, she's had to fight for every small thing she's ever wanted. Her true passion lies in painting - a dream she keeps hidden, afraid of what her parents might say if they ever found out.

Underneath her polished, disciplined, and serious exterior lives a child who never got to enjoy her childhood. She's a hardcore introvert who takes time to open up, but once she does, she's surprisingly sweet, sarcastic, and fun to be around. (Unlocking her humor is basically a side quest.)

Student of Class 12th, PCMB, Yug Mallick -a name everyone in the cantonment knows. If chaos had a face, it would probably smirk like his. He's not spoiled; he just refuses to live quietly.

After losing his father - a Captain in the Indian Military - to a border dispute in Jammu and Kashmir when he was only six, his Lieutenant mother became his whole world. Raised with love and freedom, Yug grew up bright, bold, and dangerously easygoing.

He's that student teachers both love and dread. They admire his intelligence, charm, and confidence - and simultaneously pray he doesn't show up late with another "creative excuse."

Passionate about almost every sport, he's unbeatable in badminton and basketball. His hobbies range wildly - from forgotten photography skills to playing musical instruments and debating anyone who dares to argue with him.

And while he hides it well behind jokes and chaos, Yug has a secret - a diary filled with words he'd never say out loud.

His dream? To join the military, just like his father - not for glory, but for the peace he's been chasing since he was six.

Second couple

With an infinite love for books, songs, and quiet corners, Vanya is the definition of an introvert. She's spent most of her school years tucked behind novels and notebooks, with barely a handful of friends to talk to. Small talk and meaningless conversations? Not her thing.

Being the eldest child, she grew up under the shadow of parental neglect. Her parents always said, "You're too old to act like a child. Your brother needs us more."

And somewhere along the way, she stopped expecting love altogether.

Instead, she found comfort in silence - and in Arnav, her childhood best friend who somehow makes the silence feel safe.

Partner-in-crime to Yug Mallick and the quiet storm of the class. Arnav might look calm and composed, but underneath that façade is a boy who can't sit still - restless mind, restless soul.

He is the result of hidden toxic manipulative parenting.

He always wanted to study history, to dive into the stories of people long gone, but his parents had other plans. Under the weight of their expectations, he ended up in science, pretending to fit in.

Her boyfriend and her crush? Both named Biology. She dreams of becoming a doctor - the kind who'd make patients give up apples forever.

But beyond that bright energy lies her biggest nemesis: Nishchit Chatterjee. Ever since a certain "incident" back in ninth grade, the two have despised each other with such burning intensity that even their parents secretly fear they might commit homicide one day.

Fourth couple

(Cousin of Ira, twin sister of Nishchit)

Sharing the same sharp features as her elder twin brother, Nishchit, Tanishi Chatterjee somehow manages to be even more radiant. Her smile could light up the dullest room - bright, effortless, and heartbreakingly pure.

Kindness overflows from her like second nature. She may not be the class topper, but when it comes to helping people, she never falls short. Books and marks might not define her, but her heart definitely does.

She chose the Science stream only because her brother insisted it would be "good for her," though everyone knows his real reason - classic overprotective twin behavior.

Just like Nishchit, she's the crush of half the boys across multiple schools, but no one ever dares to approach her - not with her brother guarding every hallway like a soldier on duty.

After losing both his parents in a tragic accident, Vedang Malhotra - once a bright, lively student - shut himself off from the world. He refused to accept their death, even after seeing it with his own eyes.

He took a year away from school, going through therapy after therapy, trying to piece himself back together. Now, he returns - colder, quieter, and with eyes that have seen too much too early.

Left behind with a billion-dollar pharmaceutical empire and a younger brother in eighth grade, Vedang carries the weight of adulthood far too soon. He doesn't let anyone in - except his little brother, the only person who shares his version of orphanhood.

To everyone else, he's distant, intimidating, unreadable. But beneath that coldness, there's a boy still trying to believe he deserves to feel something again.
